St Thomas a Becket Church: A Simple and Timeless Setting
The day began at St Thomas à Becket Church, a quiet and welcoming space in the middle of the city. The church itself, with its glorious light and details, set the tone for everything that followed. I focused on capturing the atmosphere—the architecture, small elements, and still moments.
While there were also many beautiful interactions and portraits, these remain private, so the images instead highlight the setting and details that shaped the day.
A Calm and Meaningful Christening Ceremony
The ceremony was intimate and calm. Family gathered closely, with Greek relatives on his side and Thai family on hers, creating a natural mix of cultures. It was simple and meaningful, centred on the child and the moment itself.
The priest was an absolute gem—warm, lighthearted, and full of positive energy. He brought a sense of ease to the ceremony, sharing a few jokes along the way and filling the space with laughter.

A Relaxed Pub Celebration with Family and Friends
Afterwards, everyone moved to County Arm pub, where the mood shifted to something more relaxed and social. Conversations flowed easily, and the mix of families felt effortless. It was a simple celebration—Sunday roast, drinks, and time spent together—rounding off the day in a warm and unforced way.
I always aim to stay unobtrusive, allowing people to relax, forget the camera, and naturally be themselves. This helps me capture genuine expressions and real moments as they unfold.
At the same time, I take a moment to connect with guests through brief, friendly conversations, creating a sense of ease and trust that makes being photographed feel comfortable and natural.
