A wedding at Chateau de Pierreclos, in Burgundy region, was a first for me.
Amandine, the Wedding Planner from A3 Events, invited me along for the journey, and I enjoyed every moment of it!
Over a cup of coffee at Café Copenhagen in Antibes, we decided to head off together from the French Riviera and drive up to Pierreclos, timing our arrival perfectly to begin the wedding preparations.
And that’s exactly what we did. I loved that when we got there, the sun was still shining brightly. I immediately grabbed my camera and captured some photos of the stunning surroundings.
The countryside was breathtaking!

Hélène, the bride, preferred a more intimate setting, choosing to prepare quietly with just her family. Meanwhile, Christopher, the groom, got ready alongside his friends and then greeted the arriving guests once he was ready.

the garden ceremony
It was time to gather everyone for the ceremony. The setting, elegantly adorned by L’Atelier de Jen, rested beneath the shade of two majestic chestnut trees. Once all the guests were seated, the procession could begin.

Some couple photos
The original plan was for Helene and Christophe to spend some time with their guests after the ceremony, but as we know, plans can change! A storm, which had been forecasted for the day, was on its way, though it had stayed at a distance until the end of the ceremony.
I asked the newlyweds to move the photo session up since we were losing the beautiful light, and I really wanted to capture it for their pictures.

The reception
As the storm rolled in, everyone hurried to take shelter indoors. I quickly captured a few shots of the reception area before allowing the guests inside. Then, Helene and Christophe made their grand entrance, greeted with applause from all. And the dance could start!
Among my offers à la carte, there one that I call Timless portraits. It is classic, beautiful portraits of parents, grand parents, children, as a superbe souvenir for the couple.
Invited at this wedding there was also a couple who got married at Chayeau de Pierreclos 17 years ago. I couldn’t resist including them in the gallery.

I would like to close this wedding gallery with a beautiful rainbow that was just at the right place, at the right time…
